New subsidiary in Russia
Branch in Moscow for fuses "made in Germany"
January 2009 - Founded before the end of the old year, SIBA's new subsidiary in Russia is now starting work, with the result that fuses made in Germany will now also be available from the Moskva. The company will offer the complete SIBA product range, from miniature and low-voltage (NH) fuses, to semiconductor protection with the Ultra rapid (UR) products and high-voltage high-performance (HH) fuses for energy supply installations.
The new subsidiary is headed by engineer Linas Aliscevicius. The office is located close to Druzhby Park in the north-west of Moscow, around 12 kilometres from the Kremlin and the city centre. The launch of the new operation is being supported by a small website and the Russian version of the SIBA image brochure - both of them naturally in Cyrillic script.
